Profile The Geezer Butler Band was a solo band led by Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, after leaving the band in 1984. The guitarist for his solo band was Peter Pedro Howse, who nowadays still remains a GZR (or g//z/r, Geezer) member. Welsh vocalist Carl Sentance (ex-Persian Risk) fronted the band between 1986 and 1988. Some of the songs composed by Butler & Co. ended up in Black Sabbath’s Dehumanizer album (1992), such as Master Of Insanity, that appeared later on the album in a slightly new version and clearly faster tempo. The title Computer God, form the same Black Sabbath release also originates from a Geezer Butler Band song. Just the song title were borrowed. The melodies are completely different.
